Deeside Site Visit
As I have mentioned in the past, I wander out a bit with work to different sites, meet new people and working in different environments.
The other day I went to this one site in Deeside Industrial Park, near Chester and Ellesmere Port.
I was about an hour in to the install and everything was going fine with installing all the hardware, until I wanted to download the software onto the PC. Because our software uses Microsoft Click Once application, it downloads the software to the desktop but due to their group policy, they are banned from having any executable files on the desktop.

This made it a bit more awkward and meant that I have to get their IT involved, this took a good couple of hours.
Some people would be a bit impatient but I was not, the reason behind this is because I was given the largest assortment of cereal bars to try, I was literally eating for ages trying new types.
No joke, there were probably about 70 boxes of different cereal bars behind the reception desk and im, pretty sure I tried all of them while I waited, my favorite would have to be Sticky Toffee, they were so nice and it melted in your mouth💜.
After their IT has arrived and sorted the issue, the reception team then took me for sometime to eat in the canteen, they have a canteen the size of Escalla and have a set of dedicated staff to run it.
They gave me a chicken bap with spicy may and chips, it was one of the nicest things I have ever had when I have been out on an install as usually I dont have lunch and try and work through to get everything done, it was nice to actually be able to relax for half an hour and enjoy my lunch.
The best part was that they gave it me for free too!!!
