Logan

Went to the cinema yesterday with my girlfriend to watch something.

We didn't know what to watch so we just went in there and looked on the film board. We saw loads of films that were on and some were good but we didn't know which to go for so we looked at the trailers for each film that we thought were worthy enough to look at, we then got it down to two films. We got it down to Logan and Hidden Figures. We had to go back to the trailers and look at them again to make a final decision and we finally arrived at a decision to go with Logan.

Definitely not because I'm stubborn and really wanted to watch Logan and I was also the one paying for it so I had more power over the decision. But after we decided we had to get some food and drink and omg it is so expensive in the cinema...

Now, I'm not a massive cheapskate but I refuse to pay £5.10 for a large tango ice blast. Like I can go to another shop and get one for much cheaper...

Now my girlfriend's mind is different and doesn't care about the price so obviously, I have to buy her one otherwise, I'm a bad person. I will admit, it was nice tho.

So yeah we got food and went to sit down to watch the film and the seats that we were in were awesome, there was no one else around us to bother us and no one in front to block our view. It was a seat worthy of a king. The film its self-was fit for a king too, by far the best X-Men film there is and one of my favorite films out there now. I would definitely consider going to watch this if you get the change, seeing it on a big screen with the sound quality in the cinema makes it so amazing.

  1. You clearly explored every possible film there David! Blimey cinema food is expensive, but the popcorn is well worth it. Glad you enjoyed the film and I hope you've not spent ALL that apprentice wage in one hit!

  2. Dave, I agree Cinema food prices are scandalous!!!! Also, you're right about the big screen experience...people often overlook the importance of sound to the 'movie spectacle'; it matters!!!
