Software issue
So you may have noticed that I have not posted anything recently. This was because I have been bombarded with emails and calls for the last week and still am being today.
The reason I have been bombarded with calls is because we brought out a software update for our Visitor management software, this went a bit wrong. It is nothing that we could have picked up in testing and its just one of those things that happen and we need to fix.
So for the past week and today, we have been working to find a fix to this issue, thankfully we found one late Friday and started to implement this. This has taken up a lot of time and manpower to get through so many customers and so many databases to fix them so it's been non-stop recently
But we have started to get the number of issues down now and it is slowing down but this is the first time I have been able to post anything without my phone going off.

Glad to see you are busy! Sometimes it never rains but it pours! At least you found a fix this time. I am sure there will be lots more challenges facing you in the next few months from your customers, and I know you will deal with them very professionally.

ReplyDeleteYeah I was literally on the phone, everytime I put the phone down, another one rung. If there was not a call, I was calling a customer back trying to resolve the issue. It was alot of work but its calmed down now. Dont worry, your star blogger will always find a way to post something
