Stubborn Clients

Some clients are so stubborn. Some rings up about a piece of software that I have never heard of before and says we supplied them with it and their licence has run out.

So my first thought is to ask my colleague if he has heard of this software before. he hasn't, so then I  checked the orders for that building, there was nothing on there about that software.

So I call the client back and say that we dont supply or support this software. "Yes you do" says the client, at this point im like sorry but im pretty sure i know what we supplied to you. So I said back "im sorry but we have never heard of this software before", "Well we got it from you so you must know" is the clients response.

Now this goes on for a good 10 minutes trying to convince her that we do not support this software, finally she goes away to talk to someone else. Half an hour later I get a call "Hi its... from ..., ive just checked and it seems like it is you who supplied it to us". At this point ive just given up inside, so I say back "im sorry but we definitely do not supply that software, you will have to speak to your manager and get some more information". She hangs up...

Call 10 minutes later "Hi its the reception manager at ..., one of my employees have rang up and is adamant that you support this software. I then name the software that we supply and tell her that we only supply this software and no others. He response is "Are you sure?" ... Am I sure... Seriously, am I sure that I didn't supply that. Yes im sure!!!

After she said that i just said "Im sorry but you will have to contact the company that supplied you with that software and then get them to give you some assistance because we dont support this".

She then said "Okay" and hung up...

Some people are so rude when they are wrong!

    1. Cheers, it was easy to keep my cool because me and my colleague were just laughing at the fact she had rang up so many time
